Mini Motions Dance Team

At Mini Motions Dance Center, our Competitive Company is designed for dancers who want to push their skills to the next level. Our company includes dancers ages 5–18, who train and perform across a variety of styles including Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acro, Musical Theater, and more.

Dancers are placed on one of our five teams, Stars, Sapphires, Rubies, Diamonds, and Divas, based on age and experience, or they may be cast into specific dances. In addition to group routines and our full-company production, members also have the opportunity to compete in solos, duets, and trios.

Each season, the team attends 4–5 regional competitions, both locally and in surrounding cities. Every other year, we also travel for nationals, where our dancers have proudly brought home top awards and national titles. Our season often kicks off with a dance convention, giving dancers the chance to train with world-class choreographers and judges.

Being part of the Competitive Company requires a high level of commitment, including several required classes, weekly rehearsals, and weekend events throughout the season. Auditions are held in late May or early June, with additional summer requirements to prepare dancers for the upcoming season.
