Our Classes
Where the student becomes the performer
We offer a variety of classes depending on the age of your child. We are proud to be a dance center that provides a huge array of dance genres and styles so each child can find what they love and thrive. The class list is as follows:
Rec Primary 2-6
Children can enroll in our recreational dance classes beginning at age 2. These are variety classes, teaching skills in ballet, tap, and jazz and even tumbling. Starting dance at an early age helps with the development of gross motor skills by incorporating things such as balance beams, trampolines, and much more!
Rec Intermediate - 7-10
At this stage, children can enroll in a variety of optional classes which combine tap, jazz, ballet, tumbling, and pom. Each of these classes will perform 2 routines in our yearly recital, consisting of 2 of the styles being taught.
Rec Advanced - 11+
Beginning at this stage, students can begin growing their skills in different types of dance styles. Varieties offered consist of tap, jazz, hip-hop, modern, lyrical, ballet, and technique.
MMDT Competitive Company
Our Competitive Company is for dedicated dancers ages 5–18 who want to take their training to the next level. Members compete in regional and national competitions in a variety of styles including jazz, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, and more.
Tumble Acro
Students aged 4 and up can enroll in our tumbling and acro classes. We offer 3 different class levels, ranging from beginner to advanced skills. This is a great class to take in addition to any of our rec classes to grow your skills and flexibility!
Registration Fee
A registration fee applies to each student enrolled. The registration fee for the fall program is $35, $20 for winter and no registration fee for the summer program. This applies to each student enrolled. Students will be provided with tap/ballet shoes where applicable and a Mini Motions T-shirt.
Registration fees and first-month payment will be necessary to guarantee a class position for your child.
Tuition
Mini Motions Dance Center offers multiple payment options. We accept cash and check payments to be deposited into our payment box, as well as Venmo payments. We take payment by credit/debit cards with a $5 processing fee. We also offer an Automatic Payment System which is a more convenient, hassle-free way to pay your monthly tuition and costume payments. Our payment policy requires all customers to provide a Credit Card or Debit Card to have on file. If you choose, you can be enrolled in auto pay and will have your tuition automatically withdrawn on the 5th of each month. There are no refunds for missed classes or dropouts.
You are responsible for updating your new account information with us at least 5 days prior to your payment being pulled. Any payments not taken care of by the 10th of the month will result in a $10 late fee. After the 15th, the late fee increases to $15. For all declined transactions (including insufficient funds, expired or new account information, etc.) a $10 reprocessing fee will be added to your payment. Email notification about your upcoming payment as well as a receipt for all accepted or declined payments will be sent out. Be sure you are receiving these emails to help track your payment records. In the case of a transaction being rejected, Mini Motions Dance Center may at its discretion attempt to process the charge again within 30 days.
There is a 10% discount given for full-year payments.
